Frequently Asked Questions

  • --How can I prepare for blood testing?

If you are required to fast, it is recommended that you do not eat for 8-12 hours and only drink water. Staying hydrated is important, so drink plenty of water beforehand.

  • --What if I receive an abnormal result on my blood test?

Abnormalities should be considered an early warning, but do not necessarily mean you have an illness or disease. We strongly recommend that you discuss your results with your physician or healthcare provider for evaluation, further testing, and diagnosis.

  • --Do I need to see a physician to get lab orders before getting blood testing?

No. You do not need to see a physician to get lab testing done. We enable you direct access to lab testing using the same labs as healthcare providers and hospitals, which are CLIA certified and regulated by government agencies. We help you save time and money while providing the same lab results that you can share with your doctor or healthcare provider.

Please note, if you would like to use your health insurance, you must have an order from a physician.
